This is the proposed style for the Preposterous story cards (a first draft, everything might change). The basis of the game being that once these cards are flipped the player sets their hand aside and draws a number of proof cards equal to the number indicated on the card. The player must then answer the questions in listed on the card in succession using the proof cards as proof for the scenario they portray, this story must also reference the player's virtue/vice cards and character card. Once the player has successfully spun a tale other players may attempt to prove the story to be Preposterous! If they succeed, the play who finally disproved the story takes the story card, however if they are unable to thwart the story the storyteller may keep the card for himself.
There are also cards with special effects written into them, these cards allow for players to take other player's cards, they also allow for players to take other player's story cards which should shake the game up quite a bit! However since this is the playtesting stage I do not know if this will be included in the final rendition of the game.
Have you play tested it?
ReplyDeleteWho has play tested?
Have you watched it being play tested (without interfering)?
How are you documenting your play testing?
Where are you putting your conclusions/revision ideas? - should be here really Mr Moulton.
Presenting a finished concept is all well and good but the why's and how's and reasons for those changes/refinements are the bits that really tell us how good the game is (or is getting)and why
